Mud Dog Run
C
ome join us for the 2nd annual running of the “Mud Dog Run”.
Sunday April 22rd Springwater Conservation Area will be the host of this fun and exciting race. Run through the picturesque woods of Elgin County and enjoy the scenic views as you navigate the moderately challenging terrain while running 5km or 10km.
Watch out for mud!
There will be awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd for each gender in each distance.
Also why not bring your four-legged friend to run along with you for the
Doggy Dash!
This will be a 5k distance only and all dogs must be leashed. Don’t forget you will need to clean up after your pup.
There will be awards to 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall.
If you have children with the yearning to get out and run bring them along as well for the Free Mud Puppy Run!
There will be prizes to all kids and this will be a short distance on a flat trail only.
T-shirts will be available to everyone who registers on or before April 2nd
and a cool token will be handed out upon completion of the race for your achievement!
Please come in the Day Use area off Conservation line and tell them you are here for the Mud Dog-parking is included in the registration fee.

Around The Bay Road Race Bus Trip
Attentions Runners & Walker participating in the 2012 Around The Bay Road Race (ATB).
Run For Your Life is doing a bus trip again this year!
This trip is always a lot of run and 2012 promises to be no exception.
$20 per person for RFYLlifer’s $30 for non members
Price included:
·Transportation to and from the race in a luxury motor coach
·Your Race Kits picked up ahead of time and ready for you on the Bus
·Tailgate Party while we wait for everyone to finish the race – Some refreshment will be provided. Please bring your own post run recovery food/drinks as required.
The bus is leaving the Run For Your Life promptly at 6:45am and returning after everyone has finishing the race.
Run For Your Life is located in the St. Thomas Health & Wellness Centre at 39 Burwell Road, St Thomas, Ontario N5P 3R5

The Stanley Cup (Log) Run Challenge

This is a Monthly Running Race (rain, snow, fog or shine)
First Race is Sunday February 26th! 10am Starting at the Village Square Coffee House (formerly Spicers), 284 Bridge Street. Port Stanley.

The Stanley Cup Race
Last Sunday of every month starting Sunday February 26th monthly in perpetuity. Start and finish for the race is at the Village Square Coffee House. 284 Bridge Street, Port Stanley Ontario. 
The Stanley Cup will be on display in the cafe and the winner of each race will take it home until the next race. The initial race is 8K and will grow by 2K each race to 16K and then track down to 8K. This is a volunteer event and not official. Run at your own risk. The race route will be determined prior to each event so come a little early. The winner of each race will help determine the next route. You must be 18 or older to run in the longer race or have your parents provide written permission to the PSVA.
The Beginners Challenge
This is a novice race on this day that is a family walk run. This walk or run race is designed to either get people into running or exercising and encourage healthy living in our community. This race will be about 2KM. This race will start just before the bigger race and you will be cheered on my the longer runners. People of all ages are welcome to join the event and can either walk or run.
